After the bitter clash against FC Bayern, Atletico Madrid was under pressure against FC Salzburg. Diego Simeone’s team was a clear favorite and also took the lead. After that, however, things became turbulent.

Atletico Madrid had a spectacular 3-2 victory against FC Salzburg. The “Kolhoneros” took the lead after 29 minutes through Lorente and held themselves. But the arrogant Salzburgers were not afraid of the Spaniards. Shortly before and shortly after the break, coach Essay Marsh’s men struck.
Dominic Soboslay (40) and Mergim Berisha (47) were successful for the Austrians, causing the American coach to explode on the side. But Atletico remained calm and quickly leveled. Joao Felix was the goal scorer in the 52nd minute. Just before the end, Madrid even won. Again Felix was the one who placed the ball in the gate of Salzburg (85th).
Next week FC Bayern will face Salzburg, Atletico will face Lok Moscow.
FC Liverpool – FC Midtjylland 2: 0
Liverpool won with difficulty against the Danish champion FC Midtjylland with 2-0 (0-0) and leads Group D with six points after the goals of Diogo Iota (55th) and Mohamed Salah (90th + 2 / penalty).

Just before the end, there could have been a bitter equalizer for Liverpool, but Midtjylland Dreyer missed a great chance in the 90th minute.
Atalanta BC – Ajax Amsterdam 2: 2
The other match in the group Liverpool ended in a draw. The guests from the Netherlands led 2-0 at the break. Goalscorers were Dusan Tadic (30th) and Lasina Traore (38th). Tadic’s goal was created after a penalty kick by DFB player Robin Gossens.
After the break, Atalantas Duvan Zapata made sure that Gossens could sleep peacefully during the night. The Colombian was successful in the 54th and 60th minute.
Olympique Marseille – Manchester City 0: 3
Pep Guardiola’s team confidently prevailed in Marseille. “Skyblues” took the lead early through Ferran Torres (18th). Marseille defended for a long time and could have ended Manchester’s superiority after the break, but that was not enough to score.
In the last quarter of an hour, the guest achieved a clear victory through Ilkay Gindogan (76th) and Rahim Sterling (81st).
FC Porto – Olympiacos Pirjus 2: 0
Led by German referee Daniel Siebert, FC Porto recorded a well-deserved victory at home against Olympiacos. The Portuguese were already able to cheer in the 11th minute when the home Fabio Vieira hit his team in the lead.
The ransom for a sure victory at home came just before the end. Sergio Oliveira allowed the fans to cheer in the 85th minute.
