The Huawei Mate X is now available for sale in China. This was the first launch of this smartphone and according to Chinese authorities it is a real success as it has been sold out in seconds. Announced more than a month ago in China, the smartphone is lagging behind. However, the latter has to deal with it quickly, as it is likely to become the best-selling folding smartphone by beating the Galaxy Fold.
The Galaxy Fold apparently went on sale in the first five minutes after it went on sale in China. It is thought that Samsung had about 20,000 units for sale on its first wave of sales. In terms of India, the 1,600 Galaxy packs are sold within 30 minutes of being released.
How Mate X Has Huawei Sold?
Apparently, you're wondering how many Mate X's were sold in China for the first time. For a moment Huawei did not communicate this data. We only know that Shenzhen has the capacity to produce 100,000 units per month, and we do not think it would take the risk to sell so much for this first.
Huawei invested heavily in China following a ban by the United States. The company has stepped up its operations in its home market to mitigate expected losses as a result of Google's lack of Western smartphone services. The least we can do is that Huawei is making good progress in its home market. As for the Mate X, sales of this folding smartphone are likely to be restricted to China until the US government lifts current trade sanctions.
Yesterday we announced the return of a new sized player in mobile telephony, it is about Motorola. The US company has just unveiled its vision for a foldable smartphone with its Razr. It does not bend vertically like Fold or Mate X, but horizontally.
