A 31-year-old woman, defending herself from the third floor of her Colmar building and whose husband is accused, has died, prosecutors said Saturday.
"She died yesterday (Friday)," Colmar County Prosecutor Catherine Sorita-Minard told AFP.
Tartar, a mother of three children between the ages of 4 and 6, has been hospitalized in serious condition after falling from her family home on Saturday night. First detained, her husband, aged 35, was charged Monday with "attempted murder by his wife" and placed in custody.
"He admitted to arguing with his wife shortly before the facts, but denies any involvement in the fall," the Colmar prosecutor said Monday.
In 2018, the Ministry of the Interior registered 121 feminists.
