PHOTOS: Kwadwo Asamoah returns to training at Inter Milan despite injuries

Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah shockedly returned to training with the Italian team of Inter Milan just three days after retreating from the Black Stars claiming he was injured.

His presence in the Inter Milan training on Wednesday sparked anger among Black Stars fans

Asamoah was in the picture with the team from Serie A in Milan on Wednesday, while his black stars were training for the Sunday fight against Ethiopia.

Revelation is a shock to many football fans because his performance in Inter Milan's training session illustrates a different approach to the national team.

While it can indeed be said that he underwent trauma training, others say he deliberately avoids playing for citizens.

His absence also put GFA in a bad light because they strongly defended his absence, but he has now set up the federation as not condemning the state of Kwadwo Asamoah before granting him the person to be excluded.

The service guy was named Kwesi Appiah for the Sunday qualifying match against Walias in Addis Ababa, but missed, claiming he was injured at the weekend.

The 29-year-old claims he was injured in the Inter-4-1 defeat by Atalanta in Serie A on Sunday.

"Kwamo Asamoah was excluded from the game Ghana versus Ethiopia because of a recurring knee injury," the statement of Ghana FA began.

"Inter's midfielder suffered a swollen knee after losing to Atalanta over the weekend".

Asamoah made 10 appearances in Serie A to Nerazzurri so far after switching from Juventus to a free transfer in the summer, after six successful years in Turin.

"Asamoah would not be available to Ghana in the African Cup of Nations in a match against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa," he continues.

"According to Inter officials, the state of Asamoah was sporadic and there is a need for urgent medical help."

The international career of former Udinese striker was wounded by injuries, and Asamoah returned to Ghana only in September after four years of self-styled exile from the Black Stars camp.

Appiah decided not to exchange a replacement.

After two games, Ghana came in third place in the AFCON F group, scoring three points so far, although they played two games less than the leaders of Kenya and Ethiopia.

Their double headline in October against Sierra Leone was canceled due to the suspension by FIFA following government intervention on alleged corruption in the SLFA.
