IPhones have a secret “button” that makes it easy to control the device and users may never have known about its existence.
And in a new iOS 14 software update, Apple unveiled a hidden button that was always under the fingertips of users.
The button is called “Back to Touch” which allows people to control their phones by clicking on the back of the device.
This feature can be activated through the phone settings and will provide many new features that can be controlled with either a double or triple click.
Whether users choose Double Touch or Triple Touch, options include using a screenshot trick and increasing and decreasing the volume of the music.
People will also be able to use the convenient option to amplify, scroll and replace songs.
For example, to use the trick to take a screenshot, you just need to double-tap the back of the iPhone. The image will then be sent directly to the phone’s photo app, as usual.
To turn on the feature, go to Settings, then test “General” and update your iPhone software to see if there are any software updates.
If available, tap the iOS 14 update and download and wait for your device to install and post something new.
The iPhone needs to be restarted automatically and all that remains is to switch to “Settings” to perform the trick.
To do this, go to Settings, then scroll down and click “Accessibility”, then click “Touch”.
From there, scroll down to Tap Back and select either Double Touch or Triple Tap.
