The newspaper “Express” reports that experts point out that one chicken egg contains less than one gram of carbohydrates and about seven grams of protein, in addition to being a good source of potassium, which is useful for nerves and muscles and improves cardiovascular health.
“Studies have shown that eating eggs on an empty stomach regularly improves blood glucose levels in people with prediabetes or type 2 disease,” the American Diabetes Association said in a statement.
