Payment via a contactless payment card, a virtual card in your mobile phone or in your watch – this is the current non-cash payment for goods and services in the Czech Republic. However, in the future, payment methods without the use of banknotes and coins may increase and may be very diverse. This is a study of Rondo.cz, which deals with the creation of online projects.
According to the study, which the portal had to process, the Czechs would also like to pay in the future, in addition to the well-known plastic cards and smartphones, with an implanted chip. Trends need to become so-called. "hands-free" payments, that is, those that should not be placed anywhere. Sensors in a given area, for example, in a supermarket cashier, themselves disclose the necessary payment information and make the payment system without actively involving the person.
Various methods based on biometrics are tested. The fingerprint certificate is now a reality in many mobile banking applications. In the United States, scanning is confirmed by scanning the iris, which is another unique cognitive function for every person. Technology developers say the entire eye scanning process, withdrawing money from an ATM or paying a bundle will not last more than 10 seconds in practice. On the other hand, let's look at each payment is probably nothing pleasant.
Instead of tokens for currency
Another Australian manufacturer of luxury men's clothing, Matt Jensen, presented in a pilot project for another non-traditional payment. In cooperation with VISA, he offered an option to pay a woven sleeve jacket with a sewn-on sleeve. Payment can be made by hand in the restaurant or in the store. Again, it has its own impractical side – the chip should be stitched in more uppers or wear only one jacket.
It's much easier to make payments in blockchain. With tokenization, the assets are converted into a blockbuster token, which, for example, is easy to transfer, for example, to a simple and convenient payment for something or service that connects. In this case, all intermediaries and payment intermediaries – such as the cards – would have died in this case.
It is clear that, as today or in the future, there will be no single way to pay for goods or services. It depends on which of the methods will be most pleasing to the customers you love the most. It does not have to be technologically advanced or most automated. At present, the most convenient way to pay in stores is seen in the contactless payment of the terminal with smart clocks or bracelets.
