10 years after its launch, WhatsApp announced the inactivity of instant messaging in some mobile models by January 2019.
Due to the constant upgrades and new features of the application, a successful technology company announced that the operating system models Android 2.3.7 or earlier and iPhone which have iOS 7
"Since we no longer develop functions for these operating systems, some functions may stop working at any time," the company explains on its frequent questions and answers.
Incompatibility of mobile phones
From 2016, the instant messaging company announces which models are not available for the application because of an operating system failure.
"When we launched WhatsApp in 2009, mobile phones were quite different from those of today," the company explains on its official blog.
WhatsApp recommended its users to buy Android, iPhone or Windows Phone.
The most affected devices are Nokia Symbian S60, BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, Windows Phone 8.0.
Currently, combat systems are:
-Android 4.0 or later
-phone with iOS 8 or later
-Windows Phone with operating system 8.1 or later with JioPhone and JioPhone 2
