The story of the metal handed to the shirt of Gabriel Borkic

"I'm like cancer, the more they attack me, the more I spread out." On October 4, Chilean musician and metalhead Juanho Feyhoo, known on the track as Juan, wrote this message to his Facebook account, which may sound prophetic during the months: his name has been propagated in the last days as never in his career .

And precisely because part of his work in the underground circuit was tangentially impacted by the first major political controversy of 2019: in the space that he led in 2017 on YouTube, "The Album", his interview with Deputy Gabriel Boric culminated in the gift of the shirt where that the face of Jaime Guzman appeared pierced by a bullet. The document was broadcast by Jose Antonio Cast and received criticism from various political sectors, which made the man, Franco Amplio, apologize to the public, especially for the laughter he expressed when he received the gift.

But the other protagonist in the order, Huánís himself, wanted to keep silent. Contacted by Prime Minister La Tercera, he makes no statements, despite the fact that his name and foot can be tracked by social networks and the Santiago metallic scene.

In addition, it is close to Del Mal Serigrafía, the store that accompanies its program on the digital platform – one that was in itself – and that from its premises in Persian Biobío specialized t-shirts not only from the most extreme heavy rock, but also figures such as Augusto Pinochet and Lucia Hriart. They are defined on the Internet as "heretical clothes" ("heretical clothes").

In fact, in another episode of his program, also aired in 2017, he gives the same shirt to the assassinated UDI senator in Alvaro Spain, the voice and leader of the punk group Fiskales Ad-Hok. "This shirt is incredible, because it's an icon of the country's oldest ugly," said the singer to receive the dress.

In the national music, Juania pushes herself with her own band – where she surrounds different musicians – and in the array of industrial metal: style anchored with loud sobriety, distortion of the buttocks, ulcers and rhythmic foundation crushing, aggressive and dark, with elements taken from the most interesting electronics. His texts are largely self-defending, lapidary with reality, helpless and strong personal and existential pessimists. His four albums to date, released for a four-year career, are available at Spotify. "Mandibular structure", "Great Suicide Success" and "Vascular Pyrotechnics" are part of the headlines of his recordings.

Her aesthetic is also curious: mixing the monstrous makeup, yellow wigs and a propensity to the world upward. "Without a wig, I'm just a shy and sad child in a world of predators," he said a little earlier on his Facebook. In his social networks, you can also grasp his inclination toward figures like Charles Manson, perhaps the most important serial killer of the 60's.

According to some connoisseurs of his career, this is something of a "special name" in the national metal: his suggestion is characteristic and does not communicate too much with the styles that dominate the country and the Chilean floor, more related to the thrash metal and metal metal, are mainly characterized by speed, urgency and his loud voices. In a way, the circuit is fairly "purist" and has resistance to bets with a different musical language.

Those same people assure that today the singer is "frightened" before his sudden overexposure and that he "received threats" for what caused a short-lived project and almost seemed to be forgotten: a cycle of digital programs where he asked different artists on albums most of them stirred their lives. Apart from Boric and Spain, Alfredo Levin, Jean Philip Creton and "El Rompi" passed.

There is no clarity about where the idea of creating poleras with the portrait of Guzman and giving the program was born. Anyway, there's another phrase posted on his Facebook, which seems to synthesize his current moment, which is not overlooked – for the glory, that he brings a celebrity that pulls him out of the shadows to place him inadvertently in the present of Gabriel Boric in the Chilean political future: My shadow is a contrast to your over-exposure.
