The industrial production index increased by 0.4% in twelve months during November

In November 2018, the Industrial Production Index (IPI) increased by 0.4% for twelve months, due to the increase in two of the three sectors it composed, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

The Manufacturing Manufacturing Index (IPMan) declined by 4.7% compared to the same month of the previous year and has an impact of -2.194 percentage points. in the IPI variation, is largely explained by the inter-national reduction of 5.5% in the elaboration of food products, which depreciates 1.881 pp. for the result of IPMan.
