After a moderate success as Venom, Sony Pictures seems to be determined to continue with its plans to expand its Spider-Man universe (without Spider-Man) and now reports that the studio shot two new films for their partnership with Marvel for 2020, and everything suggests that these are Morbius's films (with Jared Leto) and Carney.
According to the journalist of the entertainment portal Vary, Justin Krol, now the studio will set the premiere of two new films for July 10, 2020 and October 2, 2020, respectively.
Sony dated two irresponsible Marvel-Spidey spin-offs. The first is an opening which is not a continuation July 10, 2020, the second is a continuation of the opening October 2, 2020. My assumptions are MOBIUS for the date of July and the continuation of Venom for October. the story is coming soon

According to the report, the first film will be a new story, while the second installment will be a continuation. And as we all remember, Venom's post-credit scene practically publishes the participation of the killer seriously hosted by the symbiotic Kletus Kasadi, AKA. Masak, played by Woody Harrelson.
Others point to the Morbius movie issue. In October, it was announced that this would be the next Spider-Man Spin-off list. The film starring Jared Leto will begin filming early next year and follows the story of biochemist Michael Morbay. He tries to cure a rare disease, but ends up becoming a vampire.

However, nothing has been confirmed and there is always the possibility that Sony will bet on releasing other films focused on Marvel characters, such as Craven Hunter. We will have to wait to find out.
