The company dedicated to technology, Sony Corporation announced the appointment of Takeshi Ishida as the new president of Sony Mexico, who took office on November 6 this year.
Ishida replaced Takeshi Ukawa in his role as head of the operation in Mexico since 2015 and, according to the company, will be transferred to the global customer satisfaction area in the Sony Marketing field in Tokyo.
"For a new task, Uekawa leaves for Mexico a solid and well-established team that will continue its work now under the leadership of Takeshi Ishida," the company said.
Takeshi Ishida arrives at Sony Mexico from Spain, where since 2016 he was the leader of Sony. The company explained that his new president had knowledge of the Latin American market from the previous one (1995-1997) worked at the headquarters of Sony Latin America, located in Miami and Chile (1997-2002); It also has many years of experience in audio, television and mobile products.
