Mota-Egil, the Portuguese construction group that is present in Europe, Africa and eight Latin American countries: Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Brazil, Aruba and the Dominican Republic, received projects for more than $ 232m. Operation in Peru during this 2018 year.
This prize corresponds to 10 projects, such as: construction of the Vizkačas dam and Bokatoma Titar (AngloAmerican); the construction of stage 4 from the altitude of the waste bin for mining Las Bambas; Mass construction works in Mina Yusta (Markobra); and the port terminal Paracas (Porto General San Martin), among others.
Until the award of contracts in the Peru market, the recent issuance of CERPI, a subsidiary of the group in Mexico, amounts to $ 150 million. The resources of the Investment Fund will be used to fund projects in various sectors and Latin American countries.
Ricardo Camello, General Manager of Mota Eiril Peru, mentioned that the CERPI Fund will allow Meta Jilil Peru to make future investments to finance reconstruction, healthcare and education projects, among others.
