The internal elections of the Independent Democratic Union (UDI) were to be held this week. However, the problem of electronic voting forced the political shop to suspend these elections.
"What we can explain to you is that it is impossible to regain system damage from (the company) EVoting, and that's EVoting who can answer questions," said UDI Secretary Isa Corth.
The postponement of the vote was resolved by the Supreme Court of the party, and Isa Court called it "that the two lists take this with responsibility, with seriousness that suits and, above all, in the face of cudadanía."
For his part, the deputy Javier Macaya and who challenges the presidency of incumbent Jäklein van Riselsberg, believes that what happened in the Swedish street community is a lack of respect.
"I understand and share the disappointment of the militants, what happened is a lack of respect for them," he concluded.
In a statement, the UDI announced that it was agreed in the first instance to repeat the elections on December 16th.
