This afternoon, after a verdict confirming the murder of former President Eduardo Frey Montalva, the ex-Riccardo Lagos, referred to the case and said that "an unusual event in Chile's history" has occurred.
In a conversation with Radio Cooperative, a former head of state, he said "Augusto Pinochet is the one who is in charge of this assassination." On 811 pages written by Judge Alejandro Madrid condemns six people for the murder: Dr. Patrizio Silva Garin; the former president's driver, Louis Becker Arrancybiya; the former civilian agent of CNI Raul Lillo Gutierrez; Dr. Pedro Valdivia Soto and sociologists Helmara Rosenberg Gomez and Sergio Gonzalez Bomberdier.
