For the time being, the only Samsung devices that have already started to receive the stable version of Android 9.0 Pie are the Galaxy S9 and S9 +, the updates that first came to Germany for Christmas Eve, and that it should soon begin to develop in other markets more.
The next phone in the list to get this new version is Galaxy Note 9, a device that according to Samsung Turkey, may receive an update on January 15, 2019. Perhaps it is a precise date, but of course it will arrive in the middle of that month for the company's current phablet.
In addition, it is detailed that the Galaxy Note 8, S8 and S8 + will also receive the update soon, specifically, just one month after Note 9, for February 15th.
While these dates do not correspond to the same ones submitted by Samsung a few days ago, if we think Android Pie for the Galaxy S9 arrived much earlier than expected, then we could expect the same thing to happen with these phones.
However, it is unclear whether these dates are available for Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Note 8 and S8 They are specific to Turkey and to other markets across the country – most likely – or if they correspond with the global issuance of the update. We will see that when the version is finally released for those phones.
