THUNDER BAY, Ont. – Police in the north of Ontario are examining a video that seems to be showing an officer who hit a man tied to a stretcher.
Police spokesman for the Thunder Bay Chris Adams says the department is aware of the video and explores it, but declined to give further details.
The pistol, whose shortened version circulates over the internet, seems to be showing a female officer and a female nurse standing above a person tied in stretcher.
The officer and nurse seem to hold their hands on the face, which are free when the officer seems to have hit the person in the face.
The officer can then be heard shouting "It's enough!" before it appears to cover the person's mouth.
In a longer version of the video, which the Canadian press saw, the officer then called: "Do not spit on me! Do not spit on me!"
