There is no time to reopen Drive BC on the highway 1 west of Salmon Ram – Salmon Arm Observer

The final update from Drive BC on December 2 in connection with Highway 1 west of Salmon Arm does not provide an estimated time to reopen the highway.

Drive BC reports that the next update regarding highway status will be held on Monday, December 3, without scheduling the time for that update.

At around 8:30 am, however, drivers stuck in a report on the highway told crews that waiting could be another four to five hours, which would mean re-opening around 1 or 1:30 per minute.

The clash occurred near Carlin Hall and was reported around 4:45 pm. Sunday. Unconfirmed reports are said to include three vehicles.

The police have not yet released a message.

The Trans-Canada highway is closed in both directions, about 20 kilometers west of Los Angeles's hand, due to a collision with motor vehicles.
