Police conducted searches on the streets of Farfown after fires were fired on the window.
Forensics and a large number of police are conducting a search in Clara Street after a shooter was shot in the house.
The pictures show a huge hole in the window of the house.
Police from West Yorkshire closed down Clara Street after launching an investigation Wednesday night.
A spokesman for the police said: "We received a call at 5.41pm for some criminal damage on Clara Street, Huddersfield.
"We arrived to find a rifle that was emptied. In fact, it was shot on a window."
He added that nobody was hurt and that there were still no arrests.
Four or five homes were closed on Wednesday night and still had a large police presence on the street on Thursday.
The officers searched for gardens in search of evidence, with a long section of the street still isolated.
The incident comes after a weekend of violence.
On December 29, police were summoned to Scott Wale in Dayton after reports of a shot from a gun being heard. There was evidence of a weapon in the house, although no one was hurt.
Less than 24 hours after the previous incident, police officers were summoned to the Birki Hal in Birki after another shooting report. This time, a 24-year-old man was taken to hospital and was treated for injuries that are not life-threatening. Three teens have now been arrested in connection with this incident.

A 19-year-old man was seriously injured when he was shot dead in the Dutch Crescent. Police said the incident was targeted, although the victim's injuries were not life-threatening.
Shooting of Raya, March 5
The manager of Raja's farm on the Bradford trail in Hilhouse was seriously injured after being shot by an armed assailant who was seeking money from the dollar. Adil Arshad Mahmud remained in intensive care after being shot three times. Two men were charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting, but later all charges dropped.
Fartown, March 17
Police officers were summoned to the Balearde Road after a report that gunfire had been heard and caused damage to the vehicle. Luckily, nobody was hurt.

The gun was seized from a house in the Hampshire Drive, Birkhi, by police investigating the threats that have taken place in the home-related incident.

Sipridge, August 8
Armed police were summoned to Ruskin Grove to report that the shootings were fired in the direction of a child who was left "hardened". Police say there is no evidence suggesting this was related to the incident two days earlier.

Armed police were heading northwards after the footage was heard late at night. Later, the house in Liverervig was searched, and a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were arrested and later released.
Edgerton, October 8
A teenager was injured after being shot dead in the Edgerton Road road. However, no arrests were made in this regard.
Brackenhall, October 12
A man was fired from a shooter on the Norfolk Avenue. A police investigation at that time said a small black car was involved. No one was injured in the incident.
Fartown, November 11
A man was terrified after an attacker with balaclava clothes fired a shot he had missed, and the husband for cashing in the house of Pedidot Sweet. Two men, Allah Yar, Halifax and Mohammed Usman Saleem of Birki, were charged with attempted murder.
Lockwood, November 25
Lockwood Road was jailed because armed officers stormed commercial premises Sunday morning in November. No one was injured in the incident, which is said to be related to the business dispute, and two of them were interrogated.
Crosland Moor, Dec. 10
A 21-year-old man was taken to hospital after two men approached him and fired at his Walpole car. Two men were arrested shortly thereafter. The road remained closed the next day, and the police attended addresses at Dalton and Rauter in connection with the shooting. The two detainees were later released, and later police detained and released a third man.
