The serious fall off a part of the 91st Street near Anthony Henday Drive – Edmonton

A serious accident between a truck and SUV prompted police to close a section of the 91st Street in the southeast of Edmonton, which could affect Friday morning travelers.

All traffic lanes on 91 Street between Edwards Drive SW and Anthony Handay Drive will be closed for several hours due to an accident, police in Edmonton said in a news release at 3:45 pm. The accident happened around 3 o'clock.

The clash between the black KIA soul and the black Ford truck left both vehicles were seriously damaged. The truck was spotted on the tracks in the north near the exit of the eastern stronghold Henday, while the SUV rested in the middle of Street 91.

Alberta Health Services said two people were taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition. The Edmonton police service "Big Pillars" was on stage.

It is recommended that drivers avoid the area. Drivers going north or south can bypass the 66th Street, Parsons Road or Calgary Trail / Gateway Bull.

Passengers who need to access Hendayi from the south will need to bypass 50 Street or 111 Street.
