The provincial government says that from today, all locations of LCBO and Beer Store, together with authorized shops and stores at a wine cellar outside the site, can sell alcohol between 9 am and 11 am. seven days a week.

The extended hours were announced as part of the autumn economic statement of the progressive conservative government last month and came into force on Sunday.

In tweet, Tourism, Culture and Sports Minister Michael Tibolo said the change offers Ontarians "improved choice, access and convenience".

Alcohol could only be sold between the hours of 9 am and 11 am. From Monday to Saturday and from 11:00 to 6:00. in Sunday.

It is not known how much LCBO, a beer shop, and food stores will extend their working hours to new rules.
