The body found in the streets of Strathcona, identified, judged murder

The CRCP Major Crimes Department says one man found dead in rural property in Strathcona County was on Thursday a victim of murder.

Following an autopsy from the chief medical officer in Edmonton on Friday, police identified the dead man as a 25-year-old Gursoet Singh Brother from Sherwood Park.

The investigation is underway with the help of the forensic identification department of the CCPM and the section for general investigations in Strathcona County, said CCMP. Chris Warren.

RCMP said there was no risk to public safety.

The police found the dead man on the rural property on the Highway 14 and the Range 231 Road in Strathcona County after receiving a call from 911 at 8:34 am on Thursday.
