Swine Flu: Rajasthan fights fatal H1N1, 76 dead, over 2,000 positive

Nearly 76 people lost their lives in January in Rajasthan due to swine flu, also known as influenza A (H1N1), officials said on Wednesday. In Rajasthan, 2,045 were tested positively by 9,210 samples taken, the Indian Express online reported.

The threat of swine flu in the northwest has escalated. The number of victims due to this disease has increased in various countries this year. The situation is particularly bleak in Rajasthan due to a swine flu attack in recent months.

Rajasthan Health Minister Raghu Sharma made a point to visit the hospital, and also inquired about the services offered by the hospital.

About 173 people from New Delhi have also been tested positive for swine flu in the last six days since January 2019, data released by the Integrated Disease Control Program of the Ministry of Health and Family reported.
