The power was restored to Pembroke and the surrounding area, after a massive fire destroyed the courtyard from the courtyard in the center of the valley on Wednesday night.

Firefighters Pembroke were called around 8:30 am. as the blaze quickly spreads through the yard of Lavern Heidemann and Sons at the border near the intersection of Paul Martin's drive.

The flames moved to a large mill building, according to Pembroke Observer, where about 16 employees worked in the night shift when the fire broke out.

The teams reportedly had a fire under control early in the morning, although they remained at the scene to extinguish the hotspots.

Authorities continued to encourage drivers to avoid this area as the border road is expected to remain closed for most of Thursday between Paul Martin Drive and Benet Street.

The power of the Otava River has said that "a large structure fire" has damaged the water line "Hydro one" for the city.

The use of Twitter wrote at around 6.30 am that power was restored. The units had to wait several hours until the scene was secure for entry.

No injuries were reported and there was no immediate word for damage estimates.

The DPP announced on Thursday that the Marshall Fire Office in Ontario will investigate.
