Starting January 1, 2019, the replacement battery charge will increase $ 65 for the iPhone 6 via the iPhone 8 Plus, almost twice as much as the current price. To start replacing the battery on your iPhone, refer to Contact the Apple support site and select iPhone > Battery and charging > Replacing the battery. Then, select Bring for repair make an appointment with an Apple Store or an authorized Apple service. First, make sure to back up your iPhone.
If you prefer, most Apple stores allow users to wait for the Genius Bar to be placed on the spot, but only if the order is short enough, so it is recommended to book a reservation in advance. The battery replacement process is usually completed the same day, although the time to complete the service may vary.
If you do not live near the Apple Store, or you can not bother to make a path, then follow the above instructions, but instead choose Send in for repair. Apple will help you arrange to send your iPhone to one of their repair centers at an additional cost of $ 10.77 and send it with a new battery up to five working days later.
