Highway 1 is closed in both directions in North Vancouver between the Lin Lines Road and the mountain highway after the crash on Saturday night.

Eyewitnesses say the crash was comprised of three vehicles and happened at a place where there was no middle divider due to the construction.
It is not clear what the extent of the accident or how it happened. Emergency Reactors have yet to respond to incident calls.
The road is closed by 2 o'clock.

DriveBC says it uses the Lions Gate bridge as an alternative route and expects large delays.
It is estimated that the carriageway will not be fully opened until 2 pm PT.
