Forty v8.40 Notes on patches – New Infantry Guns, Air Royal and more



Fortnite v8.40 patch is now live on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This update brings two new variants of infantry, completely new Air Royale Limited Time Mode and more!

This patch includes the return of the X-4 Stormwing Plane in the form of a limited time mode. What are your thoughts?

RESTRICTED TIME MODE: AIR DRYING

Summary
Climb the plane and take it to the skies in this fast mode where players struggle to be the last ones to fly!

Mode details

  • Air Royale rises as a Duos mode.
  • Each plane has three lives, players will wake up until they lose the last life on their plane.
  • Touching the field will immediately eliminate the players.
  • Parking a plane to earth for more than a few seconds will cause it to explode – stay in the air!
  • The hijacking of a plane to another team will add that plane to your existing number of aviation lives (and it costs the team that lost the plane to live).
  • The storm has a ceiling which gradually decreases during the match. Be careful not to fly too high at the end of the match!
  • The square of five different rarities will fall from the sky, allowing players to upgrade the weapons they carry, as well as to strengthen their aircraft's weapons in no time.
    • To receive the breast content, simply fly through it.
  • If players receive prey from chests with weapons that already have the same or worse quality, they will receive additional ammunition.
    • High quality pistols will automatically replace lower quality weapons.
  • Floating repair kits can also be found, these cure damaged airplanes and the provision of health and shields to players.

RESTRICTIONAL TIME MODE: FOOD FOOD – OTHER FRIDAY

Summary

  • Two teams on both sides of the map. Huge barrier in the middle. The lava was gradually rising from underneath. Build a fortress to protect your mascot for a restaurant. When the barrier decreases, destroy the enemy's mascot and then eliminate other enemies to win the match!

Mode details

  • Imperfection barriers will be created along the center of the map for the first few minutes. The lava starts to rise from under the map for a few minutes in the match.
  • Each team will have a restaurant for insufficient construction near the center of the map. Inside is a huge mascot head represented by that team.
  • If the head of the mascot is destroyed, that team loses the ability to fire when it is eliminated.
  • Players should use the time when the barrier is to build a defensive fortress around their restaurant.
  • As soon as the barrier is reduced, it is struggling to take out the mascot before destroying yours!
  • The special red color reduces the mix at the start of the match. These have several weapons, ammunition, consumables, traps and several hundred metallic building materials.
  • Players will decide when they will be eliminated, will keep their inventory and some ammunition and resources will fall.
  • 100% additional resources are obtained from agriculture.
