Fans of Marvel face Netflix Calling Thanos "Intergalactic Sociopath" in "Avengers: Endless War" Description

Netflix recently caused some waves when it released its description Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, especially in relation to Thanos, and several fans of Marvel have a problem with that.

For context, here is the official description of Netflix. "Superheroes gathered to stop Thanos intergalactic sociopath from acquiring a full set of infinite stones and deleting half of life in the universe."

The specific term causing the whole process is the term "sociopath", which some fans say that Thanos is clearly not. Psychopaths and sociopaths sit under the umbrella of an antisocial personality disorder and generally differ in terms of guilt or lack of conscience. Psychopaths are usually described as having no empathy for their actions without the lack of a real sense of right or wrong. On the other hand, sociopaths are described as having a basic sense of right and wrong, but ignoring it to achieve their goal.

Throughout the year Infinity War Thanos shows that he regrets, especially when it comes to Gamora, and in childhood and had to kill her to gain the stone of the soul. So, he seems to be aware of his actions. He also knows that he has killed half of the universe, but believes that it is for greater good. In that case, he will actually be more of a sociopath than a psychopath, but then again, we here in the Comics computer are far from the doctors, so that we will leave any real diagnosis to the experts.

In any case, several Marvel fans take over the problem with the assumption of Netflix, and you can check their reactions to the following slides.

Before we go, although which category does Thanos belong to? Let us know in the comments!

Slide 1 from 6How dare you!

Some fans are pretty worried about it and want Netflix to fix their exceptional error.

"How dare you to call Thanos a sociopath, @netflix?

He was trying to save the universe from overpopulation. He recognized the final amount of resources in the universe. He saw what happens when those resources are gone.

Correct this, you ignorant bastards.

#InfinityWar #Netflix "

Slide 2 from 6Wrong category
Thanos Moon Avengers Infinity War

Some simply do not think that Tanos responds to the definition of a sociopath, and consider Netflix wrongly categorizing it.

"I really doubt that Netflix categorizes Thanos as sociopath. He is obviously not."

Slide 3 from 6ALL CAPI

Some are so upset that they take all the hats to make a point!

Slide 4 from 6Correct me if I'm wrong …

For other fans, he is clearly more than a psychopath than a Sociopath … right?

"It's not thanos a psychopath, is not a sociopath? Pls sent me if my dumbass is wrong "

Slide 5 from 6Does he know?

The key difference between a psychopath and a sociopath is the knowledge that what you're doing is wrong, so where does Thanos fall?

"Netflix's description of the endless war describes Thanos as a sociopath. So this means Thanos knows that what he's doing is wrong, but does he do it anyway because he is stubborn? Does he * really * believe that wiping half his life of the universe is the key to saving it? "

Slide 6 from 6Hot Dad Tanos for Victory

For others the title of Intergalactic Sociopath simply can not surpass the best title, and it will be Hot Daddy Thanos. I must say that it will be difficult to overcome the title.

"intergalactic sociopath" is great, but I'm afraid it will never be at the top of "Hot Daddy Thanos"
