The American car company Tesla, Inc. (formerly Tesla Motors) is to make electric cars more sustainable and affordable. Elon Mashk, co-founder, executive director and technology entrepreneur behind him – who is also responsible for the SpaceX program – is known for thinking outside the box.
According to IGN, Musk reportedly tried to force Nintendo to co-operate with Tesla and issue a car version Mario Kart. This was revealed during a short time Twitter exchange when the Muscle was questioned about making specific video games that can be played within the Tesla car line while the cars are complemented. When one user asked for the Mario Kart series, Musk said the manufacturer had approached Nintendo, but the Japanese company would not have licensed it. Obviously, however, musk is open to the idea of the service of the digital Steam of Valve, which will eventually become an option.
Unfortunately, Musk did not disclose why Nintendo denied Tesla. We will be struck and we will say that Nintendo wants to remain loyal to the German automotive manufacturer Mercedes after the special DLC was published in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a few years ago.
Video game settings in the car are not completely new. In fact, Musk previously announced the classic titles of Atari, such as Missile Command and Stooges could be played in Tesla cars and this became a reality in October. Thanks to Nintendo's past and current systems, no one has to sit there wondering how Mario Kart will be in the car, as it is already possible for several years now. For the record, it's tight, and if the car is a movement it can be a pretty bad experience for some people. We assume that we will get an even better idea of how it is when Mario Kart Tour arrives on mobile in 2019.
What do you think of Elon's idea to add Mario Kart to Tesla's cars? Do you think this would be a good publicity for Nintendo? Or do you think that's the right decision? Tell us below.
