Alberta Health Services said no one was injured after running over a concrete truck, sending a boom to a concrete pump through the Calgary Cancer Center on Thursday.
According to AHS, the boom went through a glazed panel at the site, currently under construction
The AFS said the Calgary Fire Department was called to the scene of the rescue. Alberta Health and Safety (ESA) was also notified.
A spokesman for the EA said it was unclear whether the boom was used at the time of the collapse, but the truck was under a stop order and officials were investigating.
The ACA said the incident would not affect the project budget nor the timeframes.
It is still unclear what caused the truck to overturn.
More to come…
