At the first significant snowfall in Toronto, the city is now struggling with a prolonged cold wave.

An extremely cold warning is currently in place for Toronto and other parts of the GTA.

"Bitter cold Arctic air moved to South Ontario overnight. Low temperatures near minus 20 degrees Celsius, coupled with strong southwest winds, resulted in wind freezing levels ranging from minus 30 to minus 35."
An extreme cold weather warning has also been issued by a health officer in Toronto for health, which causes additional cold-weather services from homeless people.
"Frozen milk can develop within a few minutes of exposed skin, especially with colds," Canada warns of the environment.
The warm weather is expected on Friday when a lighter air enters.
A high -9 ° C is forecast in the afternoon and Saturday will see a high of -4 C. Sunday will reach a high of 4 C.
