Big Weekend: Liverpool vs Arsenal, Lukaku, Sanchez, PEP

Game for watching – Liverpool vs. Arsenal
It feels like before, but it is only 55 days after Arsenal and Liverpool played a pulsating 1-1 draw at the Emirates Stadium. This result meant that both sides were separated with only four points in 11 matches. Eight matches later, the gap is now 13 points.

Their proper form, since they met last month, really differed. Liverpool are in the lead of eight consecutive Premier League victories and their club record of 11 is firmly in their proximity. Arsenal won four games, pulled out three and lost one, with their own defeat running distant memory. Despite Protests of Jurgen Klop, they are probably not in the Premier League title race.

Nor should they be. This failure was always inevitable for both sides in transition and in the fight against injuries. Unai Emery's Minas touch is exhausted, long-term doubts are still retained by a number of players, and known bugs are creeping again. A honeymoon is over, but that does not mean that this will not be a successful marriage.

It is only unfortunate that they face much more in their development, much longer in the tooth and much more established in the image of their manager. Liverpool's Clopp did not look so brilliant; Liverpool as a whole not for a long time.

Only three times the Premier League club spent the half of the season without being beaten. Arsenal (2003/04), Manchester United (2010/11) and Manchester City (2017/18) all combined attacking talent with defensive strength to win the Premier League title, and Liverpool are cut out of a similar canvas. They received at least eight goals less than either side, scoring more than all but with third place.

The lone black mark on the side of Clop was – to victory over Manchester United – their record against the colleagues of the Great Six. In the league between these teams, Liverpool was at the top from 2015/16 to 2016/17. But their gradual shift from chaos to control has seen them fall to fifth place in the same chart from 2017/18 to the current season. The only club under them is Arsenal.

As mentioned in 16 Conclusions from the last month's draw: "These games were played for Clopp's playground, but he needs to remember how to choose people of his size if Liverpool will succeed this season." Their last points were against the Gunners; if they can be right that it's wrong they will enter 2019 with an advantage of six points at the top.

Viewers – Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez
Paul Pogba is not the only player he has do the most from his pure Manchester United. Nemanja Matic and Fred look revitalized alongside him, Victor Lindelof resembles Jose Mourinho's signing that he signed, and Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lyngard and Anthony Martial enjoy more freedom under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Those who want to offer these players simply stopped playing under the previous manager, they would well remind the manager that he has stopped playing these players properly. Works in both ways.

But there are some who still have to get their second chance. Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez are inaccessible to cinqual the victories over Cardiff and Huddersfield, so he must be desperate to face Bournemouth.

Considering Lucaco's last game, he ended up having more yellow cards than the archers against Liverpool, and Sanchez was recently considered a substitute for the second half in the precious draw with Crystal Palace, which can certainly be said to have changed much. The shackles are no more, nor are they uttered.

The pressure was never greater. United scored eight goals in two games without their most expensive striker and highest-paid player, and theoretically should greet such elite strikers back into open-handed times. But Rashford will not give up his central role as easily, while Lyngard, Marty and Mata have a new life in them. Lucaku and Sanchez must struggle harder than ever with their opportunities.

The manager for watching – Pep Guardiola

"We started the season with clean leaves, we admitted five goals in I do not know how much the game was, it was unbelievable how stable it is We have players to play with the ball and it's not a team built just to defend a lot of the time But you have to do them efforts to change that dynamics. "

Pep Guardiola quickly wear out to change the worst defense dynamics of his entire managerial career. The Leicester defeat was twofold: first, Manchester City did not keep a clean sheet in the last nine games – the longest-running such move Guardiola ever lasted as a manager. You have to return to October 2008 and the first few months of the Spaniard in Barcelona for his only other magic with nine games without a clean sheet.

Second, Guardiola never lost three consecutive league matches as a coach. He lost twice in a row in City, Bayern Munich and Barca, but never three. It is unlikely as Southampton seems to complete this first hat-trick, the champions must avoid the complacency in St Mary on Sunday.

After all, the Saints surprised the city with a rather upset time last season. It takes goals to stop time to beat both home and away, as Guardiola's side struggled to bring down the stubborn, decisive defense. And Nathan Redmond will want to avoid another conclusion from an opposition manager.

One side that fell 14 points in the Premier League for the entire last season has already dropped 13 to 19 matches this campaign. Liverpool's dominance means that the margin for error is already low. Guardiola walked with a rope.

Watching Team – Huddersfield
Not only does the 19th host on the 20th place on Saturday, but both teams of the longest running without a winner Premier League face each other. Fulham and Huddersfield have six games without a win to support the table, and will meet their chances to turn things around before this year.

Fulham is newfound defense durability can play in the hands of Hudsfield, who are engaged in adventure, as well as with grandfather and grandmother and grandfather. Formerly expressive Cougers actually scored fewer goals (3) than heavy Tories (4) in the last six games, although the draw with Wolverhampton finally raised them from the bottom of the table.

But the loss of a six-game series does not seem to end up soon after Huddersfield, whose club record of successive defeats in the league is at seven. Few will bet against them or overcome or overcome them.

As the middle mass and shit seven at the bottom began to decrease slightly, the plight of Huddersfield becomes clearer. They are already five points remaining for sure, and time is running out.

It can not be a cause for concern to many parties, but Terriers must be panicked. They won only three of the last 19 games in 2017/18, winning 15 points. The wolves are above them in the table for the calendar year for 2018, and Swansea still have only six points behind. This slide began last season and shows no signs of stifling this campaign.

Football League play for watching – Leeds vs. Hal
Norwich faced Derby in a match between the two sides that were in the Premier League in a combination of 15 out of 26 seasons, but never at the same time; Leaders of the Leeds Championship face a far more forgiving task on the Ellend Road.

Marcelo Bielsa's page turned this year even the fiercest infidelity of the students. Those who remained unconvinced were surely converted with a 3-2 win win over the winners. Such momentum is impossible for production, and just as hard to resist.

So a home game against the current side in the 16th, 21st behind, would normally look direct. However, Hull found some of his own, winning four and drawing one of the last five league matches.

Nigel Atkins really turned the ship to the KOKOM stadium, and Hull even gave Norwich a tie at the end of last month. But it will take an enormous effort to repeat that data against leaders. Leeds lost home once in the league since March, and is busy making the wheels firmly fixed on their promotion.

European game for watching – Rangers vs Celtic
With more than half of the season gone, there can to be the true preparation of the title in the Scottish Premier. Celtic won the title with three, eight, two and three games left, that is, in the last four seasons. They will surely be pushed a little closer this time.

We're still at the top, of course. But the Rangers Rangers gap is three points, although the leaders have a game in hand. Kilmarnock lurking in the shadows, just another point behind.

If Celtic is prevented, there is a feeling that the Rangers must win here. The defeat will give Celtic a great advantage, while the draw will be a great opportunity. But the victory over Brendan Rogers will be as much a psychological blow. Celtic lost many league games like the Rangers (3), so it's not as absolute as it sounds.

The last time Steven Gerrard was so engaged in the title race that Rogers took part, he lost his level and nerves in a spectacular way. If he can remain calm and focused on the task that is in the hands of Ebrox, Rangers has a good old chance.
