The increase in profits in the last quarter attracted investors to the Finnish game producer Rovio.
The producer of the former Angry Birds strike game took pride in excellent results in the third quarter.
Operating profit increased to 10.4 million euros after 4 million in the same period last year.
However, the Finnish company is cautious for the current year due to growing competition and high marketing costs, the DPA said.
Rovio now expects revenues from 280 to 290 million euros for the year, with previous forecasts of 260-300 million euros. Last year, the company generated revenues of EUR 297 million.
As a result, shares rose to over 14 percent on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
