The newcomer will arrive in Mistral on August 21.
From homosexuality to, more recently, surrogacy (GPA), Nice life is a soap opera known for highlighting the facts of the news-making society. So for months, his production team has been thinking about how to approach the trisomy theme in future episodes. "For eighteen months we were thinking of introducing a trisomic character, which is quite complicated because it assumes that the actor has an accompanying personality who is very well supervised."explains Sebastian Harbitt, Producer of Nice life, at our conferences at OBS. "But that's it, we've found the story and we're looking for the right actor from the theater companies that work with Down Syndrome."
This research finally paid off. Samuel Allen Abitball was chosen to embody the first character of Down syndrome in the history of Nice life. The actor, already seen at Special mention together with Bruno Salomon and Fellini de Fujeroles, he will make his arrival at the soap opera of France 3 (La Déx in Belgium) on 21 August.
According to first information, Remy is due to land Nice life as Mistral's new bartender. His arrival should not please Barbara, a young cook from the show's host.
