Police were called in to intervene shortly before midnight on Saturday in an inn in the village of Ophagne because a party was being held there, which is forbidden in Kovid’s current context. The maximum capacity of the playground in normal time is already 14 people. But police found themselves facing 70 people. The intervention was obviously complicated as some escaped.
But 42 participants can be identified. The “organizer”, ie the man who rented the accommodation, has already been sanctioned on the spot with an immediate perception of 750 euros. For others, the fine can be as high as 250 euros. The prosecution should review the apartments. The man who rented the cottage is a resident of Dilbeck, born in 1996.
Participants came from all over, including the Netherlands. Word of mouth for this holiday seems to have worked, which is why so many people ended up meeting in one place. The landlord could be questioned in order to inquire about the terms of the rent.
