Cloudy with rain in the Bay of Bengal

Light rains are activated in the North Bay and surrounding areas. Monsoon winds extend across the states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, the epicenter of the country and central Bangladesh to Assam.

The information was released Monday in a statement from the Meteorological Department's Storm Warning Center. Monsoon winds are active over Bangladesh, with moderate to severe conditions in the North Bay, the report said.

The report added that rain was expected in many places in Kula, Barisal and Chittagong on Tuesday. In addition, rain is likely in some places in Dhaka, Rajshahi and Seattle. These places can get light to moderate or strong wind thunderstorms. Heavy rains can also occur in some parts of the country, the report said.

Rain and thunderstorms may continue until Tuesday evening under heavy snow. Temperatures may drop slightly on the ground over the next two days, the Meteorological Department said.

Earlier, the meteorological department was told that due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, Eid could rain all over the country, including the capital. It was also predicted that temperatures would be slightly higher than normal in most parts of the country on the day of the joy. Temperatures in Rajshahi, Kulna and Rangpur, in particular, were projected to reach 5 degrees Celsius. On Sunday the temperature in Rajshahi was 5 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees Celsius and 5 degrees Celsius in Rangpur.
