Mr. Stephen has a network for catching rocket parts.

As the old saying goes, if you do not succeed at the beginning, try, try again.

SpaceX made another attempt to capture a missile edge (protective nose cone), using a boat called Mr. Stephen.

Poor Mr. Stephen. Perhaps he has fingers of butter, according to a video posted by SpaceX on Tuesday. At the fair he just slipped from the ship's net.

In a tweet, SpaceX said this was "one of Mr Stephen's last completed test on the West Coast before sending him to the east coast."

This is not the first time that dressing literally miss the boat. The last catch game was earlier in January.

SpaceX wants to buy missile liners to use it again. Founder Elon Musk for a long time worked on ways to reuse rockets as a means of making launches cheaper and faster. In December, SpaceX used one of its single amplifiers for the third time. The company also plans to lay off 10 percent of its workforce.

Update, January 31 at 7:11 pm PT: Adds an additional context.
