Parenting was not the head of an actress Eva Mendes originally envisioned in her life story.
As an actress and now the mother of two daughters, Esmeralda, 4, and Amada, 2, recently stated Women's health, passage paths with longtime partner, actor Ryan Gosling, changed her perspective.
"Ryan Gosling happened," Mendes said. "I mean, he fell in love with him, then I had the sense for me to have … not children, but his children. That was very specific to him."
Even though she was mum, she was "furthest" from Mendes' mind after meeting Gosling (38), set on The place outside the pines in 2011, fate had a change of plans, a New York Post reported.
Mendes said the couple just came out of "survival," welcoming her "incredible support group" to help with the children of the couple.
"Ryan [mother], my [mother], Ryan and my sisters. It is a village that has helped us, "Mendes said." My heart goes out to women who do it alone. I basically come from a family with one parent; Although I love my father, my mother most often raised four of us alone. "
And while Hollywood is not an average neighborhood, Mendes works hard to give her girls a little "normal" upbringing.
"What I'm trying to emphasize is that I do not allow them to see me dress up. I've never seen that I'm getting ready for something; I've never seen a job. Who's OK, for anyone who wants to do it it's that way, but the way I keep it is normal to not let them see me in these situations. I'm just a mom. And I'm more than happy to be just mom, "she explained.
Besides acting, Mendes is involved in the fashion industry through a partnership with New York and Company and has created her own line: Eva by Eva Mendes.
