Save Argentine woman, who has been a victim of human trafficking for 32 years Chronicle

The Argentine woman, who was kidnapped in 1987, when a teenager was exploited in a brothel in Bolivia, was rescued by the gendarmerie and was able to celebrate her first Christmas Eve as a family after 32 years. The woman, 45, was rescued last Saturday, along with her 9-year-old son in a garage in the Bolivian city of Bermejo, where they were subjected to labor exploitation under conditions of slavery.

The National Gendarmerie reported that a citizen of Argentina was taken "ccheating on Bolivia about 32 years ago " and since then his family, originally from the city of Mart del Plata, has not stopped searching. During the first months of this year, according to sources, information was gathered that the woman was in the city of Bermeio (Bolivia), so that the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office in Oran was informed and the investigations were extended to confirm that the citizen was there with the minor child.

Investigative activities were developed jointly by the Bolivian National Police Gendarmerie and Special Forces Fight against Crime (UNCTAD), Unidad Bermayo, in order to return the victims to their homes.

In 1987, a Bolivian citizen, identified in the case of "AC" for about 50 years, took the victim to Bolivia, who was then 13 years old, and his older sister, who was born with a baby from several months of life under a promise that in that country they will get a job.

After three months, the elder sister of the victim fought the captain and returned to Argentina, but was prevented from bringing her son. Upon returning, the victim's sister announced that they had been deceived because after arriving in Bolivia, the man he had taken forced them to work in a brothel owned by their sister, identified as Lola C, although he could not determine the city and the exact place where it was located.

On July 18, 2014, the lawsuit was brought to the attention of the Procurator for Trafficking in Human Beings and Person Exploitation, who submitted an official letter to Argentina Interpol, so that the Bolivian colleagues would ask for the woman. The sources said that from October to November, the investigators confirmed that the woman wanted to work in a food stall at the Central Market in Bermejo.

In response, between December 17 and 21, the tasks were coordinated to locate and "rput his own home with his son"The woman told the Bolivian authorities she wanted to return to Argentina with her son, but that the citizen for whom she worked did not leave and retained the documents of both, for which Bolivian judicial and police officers were in charge of an operation to return the documentation .
