Asus ZenFone Max M2 bearing the model number ASUS_X01AD (ZB633KL) is certified in the NCC Taiwan Certification website.
Earlier this month, Roland's popular titter had him Twitter for the upcoming Asus Zenfone models and their names, along with specifications. He mentioned that the Asus Zenfone Max M2 has the model number ZB633KL and the Max Pro M2 takes the ZB631KL.
One of these two models appeared in Taiwan's NCC today with its second model number ASUS_X01AD. From last week's update to the Thai NBTC certification body, we learned that the number of ASUS_X01AD and ZB633KL models belong to the same model.
According to this list and tweet of Roland, we can conclude that the phone verified on today's NCC list is none other than the Asus Zenfone Max M2.

Asus ZenFone Max M2 features and features
Not all specifications of the new phone have been discovered, but from what is available, it is learned that the Asus ZenFone Max M2 will have a 6 inch Full HD + screen with a screen resolution of 1080 × 2280 pixels. The screen will be without a frame with sufficient security for the front camera and sensor. The processor will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC (octa core) (MSM8953) at a speed of 1.8 GHz. RAM is likely to be 4GB, but the 6GB variant can be available as well. The storage options can be 64GB and 128GB with a microSD card slot to expand the repository with an additional 256GB. Rumors show that the phone boasts a 5000 mAh battery.
Asus Zenfone Max M2 is likely to have a dual-camera camera with a 13-megapixel sensor as the primary unit with another sensor that adds the overall recording. The front camera will host a single lens, but the specifications are still not clear. There may be a sensor for the fingerprint on the screen and the phone is likely to be equipped with complete packet sensors and have all the connectivity options.

Surprisingly, the operating system will be Android Oreo version 8.1 and no adapters over it. This is a departure from the practice followed by most Chinese / Taiwanese manufacturers, but it is learned that Asus told Google that its ZenFone Max M2 would take it out of the box version of the operating system.
Asus should take over the Chinese chief Xiaomi for competition and has certain prices and specifications, where it can be effectively to offer a suitable device. Asus ZenFone Max M2 can be one such product. The results will be known in a few weeks. The phone can be released with small changes here and there and in other markets.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 with model number ZB631KL and ASUS_X01BD / BDA has received WFA certification today. Since certification, it is evident that Max Pro M2 will send with Android Oreo 8.1 OS out of the box.

Last week, Asus released Twitter from the official account confirming the release of Max Pro M2 in Indonesia on December 11th. This will be followed by other markets in Asia and elsewhere.
Asus Zenfone Max M2 Specifications
It is expected to appear with a triple camera set in the back plus numerous specifications and features that prescribe the new device against many devices from the middle of the market segment. As with other specifications, it is quite similar to the Zenfone Max M2 in most specifications, except for the CPU (Snapdragon 660 instead of SDM 636), the triple camera, and the higher internal storage capacity of 64/128 GB.
