Mahanda – the artist of the National Arts Festival Li Lau was injured in the head by a blow from a crossbow during the illusion that Brendon Pell performed on the stage.
The performance was held on Saturday, June 30th, and the festival's executive director, Tony Lancaster, said in a statement posted at a press conference: "Accident happened during the performance of a magical show at the National Art Festival this afternoon during the play" Carnival Shoudshaw "and other Magical Things, the performer Li Lau was injured by a crossbow during the illusion that Brendon Pell performed."
Tony, who also serves as spokesperson for the annual event that runs until July 7th, added: "As soon as the accident happened, the crowd was evacuated and soon there was an outpatient clinic." Mr. Lau was taken to the Setlers Hospital , where he received treatment. We are informed that the crossbow does not break the skull, and Mr. Lau is fully aware. "
Lee Lau then added in the above video that he was "one hundred percent" and added that his show with the wizard who mistakenly shot him will continue.
Li Lau and Brandon Peel brought him together for some time throughout the Eastern Cape and they reached the notary with their magical act.
